Gender Identity Idolatry Reaches New Lows

Editor’s note: this piece is meant for a mature audience due to the nature of the important topic it addresses.

Kids are back to school. Most are wearing backpacks. But some are “packing” on the front side. That was the shocking realization of a young female podcaster who shared her stark discovery of a prosthetic device marketed to preschool girls:

The substance of this video is no joke.  Blurring the lines between fact and fantasy is a natural developmental process for children from preschool through early elementary school. They play make believe and declare new personas from Superman to Cinderella, sometimes all in a single day.  Some girls are more interested in what boys do, and some boys in what girls do. We don’t allow kindergarteners wearing crowns to rule the classroom, nor kids with capes to jump off school buildings. We are parents, adults. We are to guide and teach what is real and what is make believe.

But in an age where transgenderism is being taught and promoted as normal, kids are being force-fed an ideology that forces them to “choose” their gender. The ideology declares that little girls with feelings of being a boy, or even consistent interest in “boy” things, really means you are a boy.  You were just born in the wrong body. Imagine what this does to the psyche of a preschool child. That’s ages 3-5 to be clear.

Enter the underwear packer for preschoolers. A despicable device created so self-declared little “boys” can put on a penis. This is where we are as a society.

The Biden-Harris Administration has just imposed new mandates to fuel this fantasy under federal law.  Under the draconian Biden-Harris Title IX Rule, schools must ensure every child participates in the delusion that a female student who no longer wants to identify as she/her, is now “he/him,” “they/them,” or the latest fad pronoun, or they risk losing federal funds.

Perversion of the truth about the sexes, created male and female by God’s design, has infiltrated every institution on our planet, even our churches.  We are in a fight to restore what the locusts have devoured – including U.S. civil rights law protecting women and girls on the basis of sex. The new Biden-Harris Title IX Rule shoved at schools this year has stripped girls of basic rights, including privacy and safety in school restrooms, locker rooms, and sports teams.

The federal government’s legitimization of these lies makes this video incredibly timely.  The watch-mom explaining the “packer penis” is Erin Brewer, co-founder of Advocates Protecting Children. Erin educates passionately from her experience with gender dysphoria resulting from sexual trauma. Along with Concerned Women for America (CWA) and others, Erin is trying to shine the light of truth on the lies that are destroying our youth.

The reaction from Gen Z influencer Isabel Brown could be any young woman waking up to the culture she’s been raised in but without awareness of the depth and breadth of the cultural rot. She’s been taught to let “you do you” and to “live your authentic self.”  She’s now understanding the lesson was not really about protecting individual freedom, but about condoning an insidious doctrine telling “tomboy” girls to put on a penis, and their lives would be better pretending to be men.

Instinctively, the vast majority of American voters know this ideology around gender is destructive – affirming and reinforcing an alternate gender identity at a young age is indoctrination.  It prevents a young girl from developing a mindset which accepts herself as female and the natural connection with her body and its maturation. It poisons her soul.

Unfortunately, too many parents buy into the lie – too willing to be tainted by the confusion of an aggressive activism that extends to “trusted” medical providers. Parents are told to affirm early so their children will grow up fully “transitioned.”  These puberty blockers suppress the body from growing healthy – impacting bones, the brain, and sexual organs.

Today’s massive gender experiment on kids – encouraging confusion about identity – is propped up by bottomless marketing of “medically” necessary items to further make-believe fantasies about becoming the opposite sex. This is not to deny the experience of gender dysphoria – often an extension of underlying mental conditions or sexual trauma.  What’s inexcusable is instead of being treated for underlying mental conditions and wounds causing dysphoria, today’s kids are being accommodated only in the direction of sex changes. A prosthetic penis  may be useful for males in certain special circumstances, but the “packer”  is now marketed to females to further a deception that living their lives to resemble men would be better. It’s clearly not about empowering women to embrace their unique dignity as women.

Gender identity idolatry has reached new lows in a political culture predicated on identity politics.  And no surprise it’s leading to business opportunities in exploitation markets. As American Principles Project has reported, the gender industrial complex has real economic dimensions.

It all leads back to impacting our schoolchildren. Drag queens were once considered adult entertainment but mainstreaming them has given license to school-based drag queen story hours and public displays of the sexual fantasies of trans-identifying men for school fundraisers.  Schools have been caught distributing chest binders to girls who’d rather be boys behind parents’ backs.  Are packers next?

Democrat-run states boast of efforts to shield kids from “non-gender affirming” parents by passing laws that degrade child welfare protections, erode parental rights, and enable the medical malpractice of experimental sex changes on minors. The other half of U.S. states have acted to protect minors from the destructive impact of gender ideology.

From packers to puberty blockers and more, gender ideology and so-called “gender affirming care” are unquestionably on the ballot. From school board leaders to the next President of the United States, whoever wins at the ballot box in 2024 will determine the future of gender ideology’s grip on our culture and the next generation.
