“She Prays She Votes” Battleground Bus Tour Launches at U.S. Capitol, July 8

First stop on 12-state campaign to rally women

Washington, D.C.  –  Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, announced its battleground bus tour “She Prays She Votes” will launch at the base of the U.S. Capitol before heading to its destinations throughout the country. Teamed with Patriot Mobile, the bus tour will be focused on key election states like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada, CWA is making stops in 12 states to encourage Christian women to get to the polls November 5 and to work as election poll workers and watchers.

Details of the launch event is as follows:

Monday, July 8, 2024

Event: Capitol Meet & Greet with Members of Congress
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Location: West Side of the U.S. Capitol National Mall
Address: 3rd Street between Madison and Jefferson Streets

“We recognize the impact of a woman who prays for her country, her community, and her family. When you combine that with political activism, it is a powerful force,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWA. “This year, the stakes could not be higher, and CWA is doing everything in its power to motivate and activate Christians across the country to get to the polls and vote for men and women who champion their values.

“Unfortunately, Americans have learned the hard lesson over the last three and half years that elections have consequences. The policies of the Biden Administration and their amen corner in Congress have disrupted our economic security, our national security, and the security and safety of our families.

“Joe Biden and the elites in Washington would rather shut Christians out of the political process, raiding their homes, spying on their activities, and calling them extremists. The only way to stop these attacks on  Christians is to get involved, securing their vote on election day, November 5.”

Since its inception in 1979, CWA has engaged women in every state to get involved and take action. This year’s She Prays She Votes bus tour will be the fifth in CWA’s history and the most robust.
