This week, I’ve been telling you about a troubling anti-Christian trend in Washington.
Well, just this week, President Trump finally put an end to the federal government’s shameful fight against the Little Sisters of the Poor.
For more than five years, the Obama Administration tried to force nuns, who take a vow of celibacy and poverty, to pay for contraceptives and abortifacients in violation of their deeply held religious beliefs or risk steep, ministry crippling fines.
The sisters pleaded for mercy, but the government went after them hard, taking them all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Concerned Women for America fought alongside the Little Sisters all the way, and victory is finally here. But the government’s attack should never have happened.
Devout Catholics shouldn’t be judges, because of their strong faith — at least, that’s what Sen. Dianne Feinstein thinks.
