Doreen Denny is Senior Director of Government Relations for Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, where she oversees engagement with the legislative and executive branches of government to advance CWA’s seven core issues: religious liberty, the sanctity of human life, defense of the family, sexual exploitation, education, national sovereignty, and support for Israel.

Doreen has broad experience across the federal government having held positions in the White House Office of Policy Development under George HW Bush, U.S. Departments of Education and Health and Human Services, and both chambers of Congress, most notably for  Senator John Ashcroft (R-MO).   Outside government she has served as a consultant in the private sector and nonprofit organizations on issues ranging from education reform to emerging democracies.

While embracing a career break to raise two children, Doreen served as director of women’s ministry programs, mentor to young professional women in the CS Lewis Institute fellows program, and in numerous volunteer capacities in the public schools.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Kansas and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Doreen resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and college-aged children.
