CWA of Louisiana Needs Your Help!

Please join the NOLA Needs Peace Coalition efforts to inform local residents about Planned Parenthood’s intention to build the state’s largest abortion facility in their neighborhood.

Fifty volunteers participated in the First Advocacy Day, Saturday, June 8. Many of the local residents that they spoke to, while going door to door, were unaware of Planned Parenthood’s plans. The volunteers were able to leave educational material and yard signs.

There is more work to do so PLEASE join in the second Advocacy Day, Saturday, June 22, 2013.

Meet at the Salvation Army’s Railton Hall, 4526 South Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans.

Participants will be divided into teams before heading out with educational materials. These teams will be placed throughout the surrounding neighborhood to the proposed abortion facility.

Schedule:
8:30-9:00 a.m.: Arrival, coffee and doughnuts: Salvation Army
9:10 a.m.: Instructions and teams assembled
9:30 a.m.: Door to door
11:30 Noon: Return to Salvation Army for debriefing
