Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with over 500,000 members across the United States, has a 33 year history of encouraging and educating women for public service and for involvement in the public square on the issues that are essential for the nation’s future and the well-being of the nation’s women and families.

We are eager to see well-prepared, qualified women use their influence to promote a better future for the nation’s children and families. We believe that part of our calling as evangelical Christian women is to reach our full potential and to use our unique talents and gifts to make a difference in our individual spheres of influence. Our members, whether full-time mothers, women in the marketplace or executives in the boardroom, are encouraged to become involved in the political process in ways that fit our primary responsibilities and stretch us to become change-makers for the betterment of every dimension of society and culture. Our members have been at the forefront of numerous national debates: promoting life, strengthening marriage and the family, religious liberty, and national sovereignty, while rejecting those things that are inherently harmful to women: pornography, cohabiting, sexual promiscuity and sex trafficking.

Evangelical women embrace Judeo-Christian principles and have a perspective on contemporary issues that is needed in the public square; our sensitivity to the needs of our children and our concern about their futures helps us provide valuable insights and practical solutions for local, state, national and international problems. CWA exists to provide the education and training that qualifies women for excellence in both their public and private roles and enables them to provide the kind of contributions in the public sphere that are needed to strengthen families, restore the spiritual foundations of the nation, revitalize American culture and rebuild the nation to become a beacon for liberty and freedom for the world.
