A 13-month-old from Canada has renewed the right- to- life debate in the U.S. Baby Joseph’s parents rushed him to the U.S. after Canadian doctors determined he was in a permanent vegetative state due to a progressive neurological disease and were about to remove his breathing tube. With the help of Father Frank Pavone and Priests for Life, Baby Joseph was taken to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where a tracheotomy was performed. Dr. Janice Crouse, Senior Fellow and Director of the Beverly LaHaye Institute has more on this case and what it says about government-run health care.
