Religious Freedom Rally at Georgia State Capitol- Your Presence is Needed

Please join Concerned Women for America of Georgia at the Religious Freedom Rally this coming Wednesday, March 19, at the State Capitol. Your presence is needed to show support for SB 377, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This legislation (SB 377) is needed in our state in order to protect our churches and businesses from the assault against traditional marriage and from attacks against private property rights of businesses and individuals who, for religious reasons, choose not to offer services to same-sex couples or to offer abortion services. Without this law, our Georgia courts would be able to use government’s coercive force against people with strong religious convictions.

Here are the details:
Times:
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Intercessory prayer throughout the Capitol
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Religious Freedom Rally
Location of rally: South Wing on the second floor of the Capitol
Featured speakers: Dr. Don Hattaway, the current President of the Georgia Baptist Convention and Dr. Wellington Boone, The Fellowship of International Churches

I hope you can join me next Wednesday and send a message to our elected officials that SB 377 must be passed.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”  Matthew 5:14-16
