CWA is excited to lend support to Mission Homefront, a Northwest Illinois ministry serving all United States Armed Forces, veterans and those currently serving and their families.

If you have a loved one or know of someone serving overseas from Northwest Illinois whom you would like for us to support with packages, to help their families with emotional support, or to recognize them when they come home, contact: y.knight@comcast.net.

If you would like to participate by supporting a solder and his/her family, please contact: y.knight@comcast.net.

There is nothing more encouraging to a soldier than to receive a care package from the states. Soldiers always need eye drops, puzzle books, individually wrapped snack items that won’t melt or can’t be crushed, nuts, hard candy, blank greeting cards, slim jims, small cans of fruit, small jars of peanut butter, gum, mints, alcohol wipes, powdered drink mixes, compact tissues, Gatorade, toilet paper, letters of encouragement, small cans of tuna and crackers, AA and AAA batteries, hand lotion and PRAYER.
