Making the CASE for a Sound Economy

The National Association of Evangelicals, the National Council of Churches and others have backed a Jim Wallis-initiated effort to increase national spending on government spending on the poor. Now, Christians for a Sustainable Economy (CASE), a coalition of conservative and traditional believers and organizations, has issued its own letter challenging the liberals’ idea of our Christian mandate. Dr Janice Crouse, Senior Fellow and Director of CWA’s Beverly LaHaye Institute, one of the letter’s many signers, and Mark Tooley, President of the Institute for Religion and Democracy, discuss this open letter to the president and national lawmakers.
