Maine Same-Sex Marriage Update

Maine, along with three other states (Maryland, Minnesota and Washington) is expected to decide whether to allow same-sex marriage (SSM) in November. We are very thankful and excited to know that North Carolina became the 31st state in America to enact a constitutional ban on SSM.

The only source of SSM in any state is either judicial fiat or legislative action. Every time the people vote, the answer is the same, “No”. Maine must follow suit as we did last time when the Legislature passed SSM, and we overturned it. Now proponents through a ballot measure are asking Maine voters to allow SSM, but we must not allow the voice of a minority to further downgrade our culture.

Our president, who is supposed to represent we the people, just came out supporting SSM at the same time that North Carolina, by a 61% margin, rejected it.

Please join us in this important issue to make a difference at the ballot box. We need your prayers and financial support in order to turn back this citizen initiative. We expect to be outspent 2 to 1 and know the elite media won’t help our side. So it will take individual people like you getting involved, to pray like it all depends on God and work like it all depends on you.
