This Sunday, November 13, marks the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Faith McDonnell, Director of Religious Liberty Programs at the Institute for Religion and Democracy, discusses the state of Christ’s followers across the globe. She also mentions that one of our nation’s most effective means of combatting religious persecution, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), will cease to exist if not re-authorized by the U.S. Senate before November 18.
