You can mess with a lot of my things, and I might overlook it, but don’t mess with my children! Common Core does just that!
Common Core is of great concern to CWA of Missouri, and we need your help to stop it.
HB 1490 must be passed. Sponsored by Rep. Kurt Bahr, HB 1490 forbids the governor and state employees from adopting Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and reverses what they have already inappropriately done. Read the bill.
PLEASE PRAY that this bill to stop Common Core gets out of committee.
TAKE ACTION by:
1. Calling your representative and asking him/her to support HB1490.
2. Filling out and submitting a “witness form” to be used in the hearing on February 20, 2014, in support of HB1490.
