Stand Up for Women and Children: Say NO to Target!

Target’s decision to open their restrooms to transgender individuals is a public safety issue. And we MUST speak up for the sake of women and children across this nation.

In the name of “inclusivity,” Target is catering to the 0.3% of the population who identify as transgender. Compare that to the 293,066 victims of rape each year, and the fact that more than 33% of these sexual assaults happen in public places like restrooms.

It’s time to draw a line in the sand. If we won’t, who will?

So for the first time in CWA’s history, we are joining other like-minded groups in calling for a boycott of Target stores.

By signing the letter of protest below, you will boldly, confidently tell the leadership of Target that we WILL NOT stand for their decision to endanger women and children. Period.

Add your name to this letter of protest right now.

Target Leadership,

This letter is to notify you that due to the recent decision by Target to allow open access to public restrooms, hundreds of thousands of Concerned Women for America (CWA) members will now boycott all Target stores.

We believe that every woman and child should have a reasonable expectation of privacy when using the public restrooms. This new policy allows for people who could harm women and children to pose as transgendered individuals in order to obtain entry into the bathroom of the opposite sex.

To be clear, no one is claiming that transgender Americans are violent criminals, but we are saying that sex offenders will use every opportunity to access vulnerable women and children.

Your policy makes them less safe. And we WILL NOT stand by in silence.

Should you decide to implement policies that do not put customers in danger, we might reconsider this decision. But until then, we will be spending our hard-earned dollars elsewhere.
