The unjust attacks against Sen. Jeff Sessions’ nomination to be the Attorney General are just the precursor of things to come from the left.
They seek to make Sen. Sessions an example of the smear campaign they want to deploy against the next nomination to the Supreme Court.
Remember that the replacement of Justice Scalia has not been selected yet. Thanks to the leadership of Majority Leader McConnell, the American people had a chance to consider the type of justice they want as they voted for president.
They spoke loud and clear that they wanted someone in the mold of Justice Scalia. But the left is furious. And what we saw with Sessions was just the beginning.
We must be ready to fight.
