BREAKING: Democrats Refuse to Protect Baby Girls

Democrats in the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly against the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA), which would ban sex-selective abortions, after President Obama and taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood voiced opposition. PRENDA needed a two-thirds majority vote to pass. Seven Republicans joined the 161 Democrats who voted the bill down.

The seven Republicans who voted against PRENDA: Amash, Bass (NH), Bono Mack, Dold, Hanna, Hayworth & Paul

The 20 Democrats who crossed party lines to do the right thing: Altmire, Barrow, Boren, Cooper, Costello, Critz, Cuellar, Donnelly (IN), Garamendi, Holden, Kissell, Lipinski, Lynch, Matheson, McIntyre, Peterson, Rahall, Reyes, Ross (AR), Shuler
