American Heritage Girls at the Boy Scout Jamboree

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The American Heritage Girls (AHG) were invited by the Boy Scouts of America to attend the Centennial Boy Scout Jamboree held last week at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. For many involved in Scouting, this was the first time they were made aware of the American Heritage Girls and the opportunity it provides to extend the faith-based scouting experience to their daughters and sisters. Patti Garibay, AHG Founder and Executive Director, has more on this experience, as well as their new alliance with Big Idea Productions’ newest Veggie Tales DVD, “Sweetpea Beauty — A Girl After God’s Own Heart.” Click here for the American Heritage Girls/Boy Scouts of America brochure you can share with your Scouting sponsor.
